Why play in a charity golf tournament in which all proceeds benefit Swag for Kids and TIAC’s charitable activities?

Simple, really. It’s for the kids. Your support will help children facing financial barriers take part in athletic and educational activities. It may pay for bus fare to get to piano lessons. It could help enable a gifted young student to attend science camp. It might result in a pair of proper running shoes for a budding track star. Your support can help kids in so many different ways.

But it will only help these kids if you take part in this golf tournament. So on September 25, do you
want to work – or play golf to help kids? That decision should be easier than making a six-inch putt!

The Max Keeping Foundation was formed in 1995 to help meet the many requests for assistance that crossed our news desk. In spite of numerous charities operating within our community, the needs of many children and families did not meet the criteria for support and were overlooked. With the help of a caring community, the Max Keeping Foundation was established to ensure that these individuals do not “fall through the cracks”. Eleven years later, the need for assistance continues to grow at an overwhelming rate.

Our mission is to help deserving children and their families in the region to meet emotional, physical, mental and emergency needs. A board of trustees determines how the requests are met.
