Formed in 1995 by the merger of Coles and Smithbooks, Chapters sells books, videos, magazines and all sorts of book-related merchandise. Some locations even offer a Starbucks, so you can combine your reading and caffeine pleasures.  The atmosphere is homey and inviting, and one can easily spend an afternoon casually browsing through thousands of titles.
